"Neon Bible is a message more to the people of God, rather than God Himself, because we are the ones who have mis-communicated the gospel or not demonstrated love with truth. In fact the God in the Bible is everything that His people are not. So how can people believe that there is hope and freedom in the grace of God’s Word when they have only felt condemnation and judgment? Or that Jesus Christ is worth knowing and worshipping when they would not want to even be friends with the Christians they know"
